John's book was first published in 1976 and is now in its fifth edition. It is a complete manual for sea kayakers, covering the history of kayaks, choice of kayak and gear, handling a kayak, planning and undertaking expeditions, safety, first aid, navigation and weather.
The book is published by John in spiral bound form, and contains 310 pages at A4 size, including colour photographs.
Copies are produced as they are ordered. Cost £15.00 each to cover postal charges and ink/paper. Orders by post only with the £15 enclosed (cheque on a UK bank - non UK buyers please email first to arrange payment and postage costs)
